Hi everyone I've a question, I'm coming in as a transfer into 6th. I was told I'd have to pay the entire 6th semester tuition up front before I can start (and they can certify me for step I). I was hoping that I could pay a down payment of say $1500, and be given a few mths to pay off the rest. I've called the Illinois office and am told i'd have to pay the $4999 in total first. I'm going through loan options to see where I can get all that at once, but really wish there's a minimum I can pay to at least be officially enrolled, so I can get certified as I want to take step I mid june.

So what's the question? Do want to know of a way to pay for school? Or do you want to know does the school let you pay a down payment?
As a new student you will have to pay your first few semesters before the school will let you on the payment plan. I don't think any school will let you take Step one before paying tuition for the semester. Especially in your situation were you can just transfer after passing.
