Hi everyone,
I made the worst mistake ever. I examined all my pts without ungowning them. I asked the proctors they told me its good not to b/cos its for pts privacy but now people are telling me I was supposed to. I'm terrified can someone tell if if they know anyone that did that and still passed. Thanks!

Im sorry to hear. Its protocol to open the gown, refasten and exposing areas to examine then redraping. I hope youve done well in the other areas of the exam to compensate for your mistake.

Hi everyone,
I made the worst mistake ever.

forgot to drap 1 patient (cant remember if i did or not)
forgot one social history
forgot 2 menstrual histories.
didnt write down a set of vitals
wrote my notes messy
only did 2 physical exams at most.
ran out of time on a few patients
didnt summarize the case with my first patient of the day

add that up and i am freaking out myself

its bad not to untie the gown.. but there are much worse things you can do. there is a posting of a SP getting injured during the exam. i talked to two guys after my exam and we all had different diagnosis for the same patient. how odd is that. this exam is really weird and parts of it are unknown.
basically everyone makes mistakes... hope you did well.
