Had a buddy who rented a car through enterprise and payed $400 mo. for a small sedan. I would advise to invest in a car however, b/c you will be needing to drive to your rotations wherever you may be, and renting a car is losing money w/o investing.

if you rent a car at the airport it'll cost you more than renting it elsewhere. there is some kind of extra airport fee. just keep that in mind.

Don't forget, that if you don't have existing car insurance that covers rental cars, you probably will pay double the price of the rental itself because the rental car company may make you purchase their insurance. Whether you have your own car insurance or decide to go with the rental car company car insurance coverage, I highly recommend having some form of car insurance in Miami where the driving is chaotic and unpredictable.
