Are there starbucks or nice coffee shops on the island?

I was wondering. Any of you guys study elsewhere beside the library and your dorm? Just curious.

No Starbucks but there are coffee shops and beaches for studying. Personally, I studied only in my room. I found it was the only place I could concentrate. Do some experimenting, find out what works for you. You will know for sure after the first exam.

I freaking wish...... when ever I fly back home, when our plane touches in Miami, I still sprint to the nearest Starbucks..... even if I have less than an hour connection to make. When I first got down here I was flopping around contorting like I was starring in an exorcist movie, due to my Starbucks withdrawal. I've tried a few coffee shops down here, but.... they just don't match up...:(

Studying would be impossible at the coffee shops down here, because a lot of them also have cyber cafe's, which mean tons of people in the coffee shop. Chilling by the pool reading, or the beach, or just hanging out in my air-conditioned room is perfect for me.

There is a new coffee shop right across from the school which is just like starbucks, then there is azzurro coffee with great pastries and dunkin donuts and another coffee place in the shopping ctr on west bay rd on the way to school and another one right behind pizza hut off west bay rd soooo there are nice ones here,,again, don t worry about food cause we get everything some things may cost a bit more though but heyyy whatcha gonna do???????
