Hi future classmates,

I have been accepted to Ross and can't wait to get there!!! I'll be arriving in a couple of weeks for orientation. I did a little search on Youtube and found a couple of ross videos. Most of them were boring but this one i found was really funny.

Yes, you only see trees when you land! You don't see the airport until you're on the runway.

Oh you see more than trees but a landing at Melville Hall always reminds me of the helicopter scene from Jurassic Park.

^ Are you serious?

"How to get a 4.0? I'll let you in on a secret - study"

That was the gist of their talk. It was a complete waste of time, since there is no hard fast rule on how to get a 4.0. Everyone has different study habits. Copying someone else's habits may be disastrous. Just find your own way, stick to the regiment you're most comfortable with, and you'll be fine.

Yeah I don't understand how that video was informative - it was funny, but by no means was it informative. And why did they title the video "How to get a 4.0"? There is nothing in that video that informs anyone how to get a 4.0, or even a 2.0 for that matter. Personally, if there is a video that truly does inform one how to get a 4.0, that I would really like to see and perhaps get tips from.

Waste of time video. Get your butt in the chair and study, end of story. No easy way around it

I went to the seminar tonight and one of the speakers at the end really gave me the swift kick in the pants that I needed. I've been getting complacement the last week or so and I needed a good pep talk. Really put things in perspective. I'm really glad I went. Maybe it's not as hard, but why take the chance. No more procrastinating for me. I'm gonna hit the books hard core tonight. No excuses right?

Use every minute you have to study..........there is never enough time to learn everything.....
