Have you requested to be waived from school health insurance for summer 2008?
and if so, how long did it take to get a response/approval?

i would like to know why the school insurance is mandatory as our insurance hardly covers anything... Health insurance is not mandatory in U.S… I would be happy with the insurance school provides us IF it covered our health problems.

I think it's the death aspect? Like if anything happens to you and your demise comes into effect, that insurance covers the shipment of your body back to the US for free. The rest of our insurance is like a bathing suit, covers the bare minimum.

They do cover sickness but they don't cover prevention. So me and a lot of other folks don't get certain procedures and medications covered that we may take every single day- we're on our own for that. They also have a different definition of what a sickness is.
