hi everyone. i have applied to st. eustatius as a transfer student for sept 08. still haven heard anything. i got accepted to AUA. i applied as a transfer student and i am hoping that i will be accepted either into the 5th or 4th semester. (i hoping 5th cuz i dreading going to the island). the person who interviewed me sounded like i would def get in he just didnt know which semester cuz i tranferring from india and i haven had any ethics class etc there. anyway, my question is for current students, what exactly do u do in the 5th semester???. one person i talked to Ken told me its in normal, illinois.
and its in a college. how can you do a 5th semester in a college and no classes in a hospital??. i would greatly appreciate to hear from students who are currently in the 5th semester and what they do how the teachers are and what the teaching is like. please reply to this post.

The only reason i like this school over AUA is cuz i can do all my rotations in one place...chicago, according to the person on the phone, I don wanna move around from state to state while doing my rotations. I don mind changing hospitals as long as they are in the same area. I am from MI so chicago isn that far from home either. I am higly confused what to do if i get in this school. I start in sept. AUA has rotations in MI but i cannot do all of them there.

Another thing is accreditation. this school is OLDER than AUA, but it still HASN"T gotten NY approval whereas AUA has. i wanna practice in cali but neither school is approved by cali, but since aua is NY approved, they have more of a chance of getting cali approval. but that is later....right now i wanna know about the rotations and stuff so please a current student tell me what they do in 5th semester and if its true whether i CAN do all rotations in chicago or not.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance. i will check this tom. please i need your help to decide.....

if you want cali, i would try to do SABA, AUC, or Ross

i hear ross is having clinical problems

i just finished 1st term so cant comment too much on 5th term. i know they prep for the STEP 1 & they do some basic clinical stuff. you would need to have ethics.

You will NEVER be able to practice in California going to either AUA or St. E...
