Sporting activities

i was wondering if there is a tennis court available and if i have to bring my own racquet and balls, thanks.

there are a couple and you can borrow that from the Admin building

I know there is not much time to do a lot of activities, do Statia students participate in sort of "intramural" games or just play games (e.g. basketball, soccer, football, softball/baseball, volleyball) against each other?

Also, do we need to bring our sporting equipment? i.e. football, baseball mitt, etc...

i havent seen much baseball/softball

basketball is played, sometimes tournaments with the locals

cricket is played about every weekend

i play soccer on thursdays. there are quite a bit of people. we do ~6 man teams, first to 2. there are usually enough for 2 student teams and 2 or 3 local teams. the locals always win.

Cricket...hmm, haven't played. I guess I'll have to give it a shot.

Oh good, that sounds like fun, I hope the basketball team or any other teams are co-ed!

yeah its coed. its not intramurals, just people playing
