Does anyone find it sketchy that I got accepted into St. Martinus without any type of interview at all? I had telephone interviews with MUA as well as Spartan Health Sciences Univ and I got accepted to both. I just found out that I didn't get into SABA - I will be going to St. Martinus Univ. - I just thought that it was odd that I got into a pretty well known Caribbean Med school without any type of interview - simply an acceptance letter through email and eventually a hard copy in the mail.

Thoughts from anybody?

Hello,

I am in the same position as you are, meaning that I got accepted to St. Martinus Univesity as well for September 2008. But I have no idea of what to do as of now. In otherwords, I don't know what is the next procedure(s). Any idea of what is going to happen next?

Thanks,

I am going to St. Martinus in September. Right now, I'm getting all my immigration items in place in order to be sent with my seat deposit. I'm planning on living in the dorm for the first semester. Well, hope to see ya down there!

Yeah it's true because when I got accepted for September 2008, I only
received the hard copy stating congraduations and no interview.

Yeah I am coming to St. Martinus University. I am from Minnisoda. I will be busy over next three weeks due to the finals in middle of May. In the mean time I will get my papers ready to be send to the office. I already sent the deposit to the office like in November 2007. I applied in September 2007 with the rest of U.S. Medical schools. And that's how I got in. Everyone esle said NO.

To the thread starter... GO TO MUA-Nevis instead or apply to St. James or AUA!!!

Go here as a LAST resort... try Windsor or Xavier before as well.

I'm coming to St. Martinus in September. I got into MUA and Spartan Health Sciences, but decided that St. Martinus is in the best area as well as doing very well right now with all the new changes. I actually got a voicemail the other day from St. James - they wanted to interview me, but I'm going to St. Martinus University!!!

I am coming in September of 2008 as well. I have sent in my seat deposit via the paypal deal they have and now after finals this week I will be figuring out the whole loan thing. I am going down to the island in June to visit and just check everything out for a little vacation with my family. I am really excited. One of my friends is going to St. James in Bonaire so the two of us are just working on getting all of the stuff squared away.

St Martinus is always struggling to get students.

If you apply you will be sure to be accepted but I agree with the poster who opined Go here as a LAST resort... try Windsor, MUA-Nevis, AUA or even St. James !!

BoiseStateDiver,
Hi I got accepted in to the university for the fall semester and I was wondering how you guys are planning to pay for everything. I know that we have to get private loans and everything but are there any loans that the school offers to students? Any help as to how to pay for the university would be great. Thank you all in advance.

you are severely limiting your future coming straight out of high school and going to a school like this

i'd suggest you really rethink your options and go to school in the US/Canada
