Has anyone had any kind of problem going through this airport (Puerto Rico)? Lost a Luggage, missed a flight, or anything at all.

I missed a flight once while going back and got my bags late once while coming to st.kitts... The flight i missed was more due to the late departure(nearly 45 mins) from st.kitts... And the bags i think was due to the short connecting time i had between flights....

Its the "Black hole" of luggage....try to make sure you have at least 2-3 hr before your connecting...if not your luggage will come on the next flight. And try to carry all electronics with you....2 semester ago a student lost some pricey stuff...(airlines do not cover lost electronics.)

Make sure you have a ample time between flights.that will lessen chances of lost luggage. Also ,the plane from San Juan to St kitts is quite small (even for American Airlines).My laptop bag was quite bulky and the crew didnt want to let me bring it onboard, they wanted store it in the baggage compartment.So I ended up with the laptop in my arms during the flight.Other than that, all my bags reached st kitts, and the airport porters were very helpful in loading my stuff.They will open everything though once in st kitts.

so there is no way they allow carry on, or was just for you? I will have my laptop, and a small luggage with me for this trip....

well if your carry on is large(like a small suitcase) they may ask you to put it with the cargo before your board the st kitts flight... And you would get it when you get off the flight.. I didnt have a problem with my laptop bag... i was able to carry it with me on the flight...It all depends on the size of your bag....

Ok..... so, just to let everyone know my flight from San Jaun was not delayed and my luggage was not lost...Thanks for ur replies
