i keep reading about it, but not quite sure what it is. How do the basic sciences from Ross differ from SGU and when is the AICM for Ross students? I believe Ross has the COMP that you have to take to take step 1 whereas SGU has the BSCE. Can someone clarify this for me in more detail? If a student starts in September 08 class, is it possible to match in 2012?
AICM is 5th semester in Miami. I believe SGU has a similar 5th semester in the islands. All Ross students must pass (64%) the NBME Comprehensive exam in order to sit for Step 1. I believe SGU has their own internal "comp" they must pass. As for making the 2012 match, i am not sure, you should contact ross directly and ask them in regards to this.

Yes, it certainly is, provided you don't have too many gaps between your clinical rotations and you don't take too much time off to study for the Steps. Of course, a few gaps and a month or two of study time still shouldn't exclude you from making the '12 match.

Ross AICM is the 5th semester. There are 3 sites: Miami, Michigan and Dominica. We have to take the NBME COMP exam at the first week of 5th semester...that gives us about 3 weeks to study for COMP.
