Some national universities/ medical schools have published their fees for the new 2008/09 academic year. So, these are the official ones. In some schools the fees are announced in local currency. That is why minor changes are quit possible because of changes in euro/rouble ratio of exchange.
Graduate programs (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry) are available in Russian, English and French languages. Prospective students of Russian medium program need to enter 8-9 month Foundation (preparatory) courses to study the language and core subjects. Both Foundation courses and graduate/postgraduate programs will start in the Fall semester (September-November). Students of English/French medium programs may apply for their graduate study directly (Foundation courses are not obligatory in this case). However, those who are having low grades in natural sciences (Bio, Chem, Math or Phys) may be requested to start with Foundation courses. Admission is open and will be closed about 1-1,5 month before the chosen program starts (the time required for a invitation process). However, currently the Confirmation/ Admission letters only are available. For visa application all the students need an original invitation letter which is to be issued upon request of the selected university by Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Because of local regulations the letter may be available as early as at mid July or even later.

I did not see an official web-site for KSMU whereas its agents indicate different fees. So, I am in troubles to say which one is the official one.

I think you would not have problems if having good grades (4&5). However, you need to apply with your current documents (academic results) and wait for the university official decision.

Mikhail, since you are the school official, can u plz inform me how to contact Ryazan university. Do I directly call them up and send my academic results by post? Will they speak 2 me in english over the phone? I think I may need to go for a foundation course of premed first. Will they offer me? Are there any agents or simply I wanted to know what to do in order to get in Ryazan? Will emailing my documents to them will be okay? Plz help buddy.

Mikhail

I think there is no direct admission to Ryazan. You may apply by internet via www.edurussia.ru (http://www.edurussia.ru/) or ask us for assistance.
In a case f English-medium program, no Foundation (premed) course is required. But for that you need to study natural sciences (Bio, Chem, Math, Phys) in the school.
The official deadline for this program will be in late July or beginning of August. But as I know they have no so many students graduating this year and only their current places in hostels will be available for new-comers accommodation. So, the intake may be closed earlier than in August.

I visited your website. It was great to learn some new things. Does your company work for Siberian State Medical University? I heard this university has links with many international universities of USA.
Buddy one more thing to know. Living in Moscow is double that of the expense than in other cities in Russia. How's the living standard of St. Petersburg and Kursk? Are the cities enough secured for med students and what are the scopes for weekends?

Mikhail is most likely one of the most informed person about definite official tuition prices of Russian med schools in Russia..
The discrepancy between weeks statement and Mikhail's is another flagrant proof that RSMU and MMA same and sole agent is a thief..
