It's been 2 weeks since I interviewed and I haven't heard anything.

I've called a few times but EVERY DAY and EVERY TIME I call I'm transferred to the voicemail to leave a message. I've even emailed but have not received a response. I understand the admissions committee is busy rightnow and have a lot of students to deal with, but does it take over two weeks for them to respond? I was told I would receive a letter in the mail regarding acceptance very soon after my interview.

Any insight from those who were recently accepted? Should I sit still and wait OR keep calling?

Actually man, I have good news regarding your post and the other one about them being vanished.

I JUST received a phone call from Xavier. They had a seminar here in my city last week and I had went and filled out a registration form of attending. So one of the Xavier physicians called me and thanked me for coming and then said "I was calling to see if you had any questions about our school or if I could help you in any way"...and I was really IMPRESSED. They are actually taking the time out to contact these prospective students and address any concerns.

I then told him that I had already applied and that I was interviewed a couple of weeks ago. He asked me who I was interviewed by and it turned out to be HIM! Haha, he got happy and said he remembered me and told me that it had been exactly 2 weeks from my interview so a letter should be sent out very soon and I can expect it next week or so. THAT was all I needed to hear.

In addition, he told me if I have ANY questions or concerns to call him directly on the Xavier Admissions phone number and use ext. # 1212 to reach him. Like I said, he's one of the physicians that works for the admissions board and he's REALLY NICE so call him up and talk to him. I'm sure he'll clear all the confusion for you, hope that helps!
