Info needed for a 3rd yr student, please help. If you have first hand or relatively first hand (roommate/SO) knowledge about this site, your feedback is appreciated. Any comments on ease of getting electives, ed. coordinator's temperament, quality of teaching, etc

I completed surgery core there, and a few electives. The core was pretty good when I did it. The attendings actually take time out to do teaching sessions with the students. Call is reasonable, during the week til 10:00pm and 24hr on the weekend.

Your experience will be all about what you decide to make of it.

Uh, I did a couple of rotations there. Surgery is a nightmare. I would stay away from this place for surgery like the plague.
