I think students are required to stay in housing provided by the University for the first semester, after that you can look for something else. I think the administration has more information on this.

yes this is true that first semester students have to stay in on campus housing but you have a choice between an apartment on campus and a dorm room in a house sharing bathrooms kitchen and living room. i chose to live in an apartment but its about a $200 difference.
