Mr. Henry Joe Chau appointed as new chairman / president of St. Martinus Univerity N.V.


Curacao March 31, 2008.

On March 20 2008 a general shareholders meeting of the St. Martinus University was held. This meeting was attended by over 98 % of the shareholders either in person or by proxy.

At this meeting there was an unanimous approval from the shareholders to appoint Mr. Henry Joe Chau as the new chairman/president of the board. Mr. Henry Chau is currently the Chairman/CEO of Maple Leaf Fund Corp of Toronto Canada.

Mr. Dinesh Nayak, C.P.A. MemberOn March 27 2008 two agreements was signed between the shareholders of St. Martinus University and Maple Leaf Education Fund LTD under leadership of Mr. Henry Chau. In addition to being Chairman/President of SMU Mr. Chau will also take over the financial control of St. Martinus University.

During this transitional period all the administrative staff, faculty and students have stuck together to see it through. The new management expresses its gratitude towards the staff and everybody involved. It has just been days since Mr. Chau came in but changes and improvements have already been observed.

I can elaborate on the last vision. St Martinus University has the best reputation in the Caribbean in:
Telling lies, one after another. Lies coming from all levels of admin, from the new president to the vice president to the director of operation. The last lie about the new loan was really shocking.
Deception about how the students are doing at USMLE. No school ever did so poor as St Martinus in terms of progression academically. There are few students who did extremely well in the USMLE, but that does not mean the majority. No school started some 6 years ago and still has handful of students in each class like St Martinus.
