Hi all -

I'm new to the forum, and I was looking to see if current students, or students who have just been accepted could tell me the qualifications ... I understand that it varies depending on the school and there's no specific cutoff, but what exactly is this school in particular looking for? I am looking to apply for either the Jan 09 or May 09 entry. I couldn't seem to find any posts like this, so if this is a repeat, I do apologize. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! :)

you can start by visiting the schools website, they have the requirements there, from what i can tell you, you need to have completed the required science classes with passing grades. Also try to take the MCAT, although its not required for st eustatius it will improve your chances if you do well on it, also the MCAT will give you the chance to apply to other schools that do require it Another important thing is your personal statement and interview, you have to show them you are prepared for the medical school life. Good luck

I agree with the above statements. You can also call the admissions department and talk to someone on the phone. They are very helpful. I was accepted into the Sept. 08 term and I can tell you that they are really looking to make sure that you can handle medical school and that you are mature enough to do it in another country. Yes, it will be nice on stratia, but you have to remember what you are there for. Just be yourself and make sure that your personal statement reflects why you want to become a doctor and what you feel you can bring to the medical community. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. You can also look in the forum under interviews or interview questions to get a different picture of this topic.
