View Full Version : St. John's (Michigan)--fall start dates?

Hi

I know that the start dates for fall 08 haven't been released yet, but does anyone know the start dates (orientation) from fall 07? It looks, hopefully, and if things don't change, i will be going there--which is sweet.

I know there was some talk on another (old) thread about Michigan having weird start dates, but i think it may have been referring to hospitals no longer with us. I need a ballpark for my step 1 planning.

I think the start dates for St. John's in Detroit are May 19 and sometime mid-September.
Is there a central SGU website that has clinical information? I feel like I spend so much time trying to find out simple information that should be easy to access.

Can someone tell me if St. John's has hospital student housing, and if so how is it including rates? Only asking here since they say it's inappropriate to contact the hospital unless you're given a permanent placement there.

Sorry if this is too late for the original poster, but St. John HAS student housing, although it is not always adveritsed and may not be "offically" available to SGU students. They have dorm-type of housing within walking distance to the hospital. This is where the michigan state and DO students usually stay. Call the hospital and ask specificially when you get your placement.
