Hi -- was wondering if you guys could help me. I have a pretty low GPA 2.3 -- and I'm writing the MCAT at the end of May. Was just wondering if I had a chance of getting in anywhere? If so where would you suggest I apply?
Thank you for your help...

2.3 is a -very- steep hill to get over in terms of getting into med school. If you can, take another while to bump up your GPA.
Otherwise, you might want to consider some of the Eastern European/Russian schools; you sacrifice some prestige, but you're apparently near-guaranteed admission.

It's low. Depending on your MCAT, some of the Carib schools would probably take you. Have you considered a Masters? Unless a miracle happens, it doesn't look good for Canadian schools.

How did your MCAT go ?
Depending on your circumstances, you may want to spend another year to bring up your GPA. The major basis is the undergraduate work, not the graduate work. The cutoff is also based on the undergraduate work.
Also, depending how your earned that cGPA, but if you have two years (don't need to be consecutive) and each of these is full-time with at least 3.75 GPA, you have a good shot.
Ontario schools have different (and peculiar) ways of admission requirements. Formulas, only full-time load years counted, best two years, higher GPA of two years vs. overall GPA, etc. etc. (contrast this with the schools in US, they want to see Science GPA, cumGPA, post-bacc GPA, grad GPA - if applicable)
Finally, there are those who bum their first year, but do remarkably well in higher years, and while their cGPA is low, their last two years are very good. I know one who made it.
How do your years look like ? In Canadian admission, this is what matters not the cGPA. Only in McMaster cGPA matters, they want 3.0 of all courses.
So, don't give a single GPA, if you're applying to Canadian schools. Show your GPA for each year, and the status (full or part-time loads).
