LOR Question

So I need some info on who I should get LOR from during my cores and electives? Is it mostly program directors that are most coveted, or who?

I know they need your AAMC # on the letter, I have that since I have my old MCAT AAMC number. Should I start getting them now as a 3rd year, or wait till 4th year.

2. Where are they sent? Do I send them to ECFMG now, even though Im not matching anytime soon?

I started 3rd year in Jan of this year, so Im gonna be a bit off for the match too. Im trying to figure out a timeline that will work for me, but Im a little confused since I started late in cores?

You can ask for them now and inform the writer that you will need him/her to mail it in to ECFMG later on in your 4th year. That is what I did and it worked fine.

You cannot submit them now until July 1st, once ECFMG starts accepting supporting documents.

You give the writer the cover sheet that you print once you can access ERAS which will be July 1st.
