Does anybody know how to get a certificate for OSHA bloodborne pathogens training and HIPAA? I'm a transfer and don't recall getting them in my old school.

These are offered for no charge at several hospitals, often at the time of orientation. Which hospital are you starting at?
You can complete these online, but they're usually expensive.

Thanks for the info, Sree. I'm probably going to start at St. Joseph Mercy in MI (I signed up there for my top three choices). Do they offer the OSHA and HIPAA trainings there?

No, but they didn't really require me to have any of that either. I PMed you the contact info of the clinical coordinator. She should be able to answer any questions you have.

When I did 5th semester in Miami, we had to sit through the HIPAA session? Will that still be carried over to when you do clinicals? Or will we have to redo that with the OSHA certification?

i paid for mine, it was around 50 bucks - they WILL NOT schedule you unless you send it into them. So get it done online.

Do you remember what the websites were that you used for these online programs? Thanks.
