Hey Guys!

I was wondering if any of you have been on an interview in NY? If so, could you please share how your interview went? What type of questions were asked? Was it laid back? How was your overall experience?

Thank you! Look forward to hearing your responses!

Hey...thanks for responding Sherinnicole. My interview is in Manhattan with Dr. Pareek. Anyone interview with him? Sherin, how did your interview go? Were the usual questions asked?

Thanks!

i interviewed with him. he is a very cool guy, and the interview was more like a conversation. he asked all the usual questions that can be found by searching this forum-lasted about 40 min. he did not ask any ethical questions, however he wanted you to ask him intelligent questions, so have some prepared. otherwise, relax and get a good nights sleep, as i said, he is very cool. :D

I had my interview with Dr. Sorin in Queens hospital. I could not tell you how nice and helpful he was. I think all the interviews are pretty low key. He didn't want to know about my grades or anything because they were pretty normal. He did ask me about why I wanted to be a doctor, of course. He asked if I had any questions and I asked him about the island any setbacks he has as an IMG. The interview lasted over an hour, but really we were just talking. I still haven't heard anything though; my interview was 3 weeks ago. I hope to hear soon. I know I was nervous going in there, but there is no need. They really are just trying to get to know you; so be yourself and GOOD LUCK. :D
