This is more out of curiosity then anything else since im not really interested in NY. Ive had a number of ppl ask me this but I really dont have an answer.
If someone from a school thats NOT improved in NY does a residency in NY (NOT at a VA) what happens?
I know NY will not recognise it for future permanent licensure.. but what about the other states? Will they recognise it?
Personally, Ive always thought that you run a very real risk of other states saying they will not recognise your training because NY does not recognise it... and so ppl should avoid it like the plague to be on the safe side... but is that really true?
Can (or do) ppl from nonapproved schools do residency in NY and then go on and get licensure in some other state where they are approved?
