I am deciding where to go to Medical School in the Carib. I know Ross, AUG, and SGU. How is the SGU experience in the third and fourth years. I heard people at Ross hate their schools clinical support. Does SGU do a good job of providing students with resources and spots to do clinicals? Are students constantly having to wait a year to get spots for clinical like I have heard from Ross students? Please provide some insight. Thanks.

SGU resently won a huge exclusive contract with a NY hospital group, securing additional clinical spots. They currently have more spots than they can use.

Here's a link to that story: NYC’s Health and Hospital Corporation and St. George’s University Agreement - St. George’s University - Caribbean Medical & Veterinary School (http://www.sgu.edu/website/sguwebsite.nsf/news-events/news-archives07-HHC.html)

i teach sgu students and out of all the carib schools they seem to offer the best student services and support from basuc science and beyond. they even have financial counselrors when you graduate that help you with loan defrements and things the rest of us are left to figure on our own. so just like most everything in life you get what you pay for and with sgu price tag you get the most out of the top 4 carb schools. i don't go to sgu so get all this info from students

Nice to hear this information from someone who has experience with other Caribbean schools.

If you don't mind answering...... where you teach SGU students?
