yeah its like 50 dollars per hour missed. Unless you have strong reasons why you were not there, such as family illness, or personal sick day, you are obliged to make up the classes, and it costs between 40 and 50 dollars per hour.
This is an unfortunate rule.
However there exists standards such as this in the US, even in residency, where when a resident is caught "cheating" such as moonlighting while on call, that resident gets docked pay.

and i mean if classes are mandatory , as in attendance, then i can understand having to make up the classes, but if attendance is not taken, how do they know if you were there or not?

what exactly do you want here A_H. We have already expressed sympathy at your current and future situations. What else do you want here on these boards?
I hope sincerely that you have since picked yourself up and are starting a new life and career.
Sorry to hear that you fell so hard in Hungary. It is not the end of the world.

Pertinent to classes, yes in the lectures, the lectures are not mandatory. However the practicals usually are, and yes they do take attendance -- they call out names, or they pass around an attendance sheet.
Pertinent to A_H now number 4, I did not realize that multiple accounts were allowed here.

.

""..every professor has a list of the names of the class he is teaching duh""
that is a bit rude, and warrants an apology.

REF: to J.H. VARGHESEJV. M-S-H and A_H 1,2,3,..... (so many more to come in fututre under disguise, who knows!!) As we all know victim syndrome (pl. look it up on GOOGLE) and negative emotions ingrained (e.g. A spurned woman ) people somehow never let them go and loose the total sense of reality and become very delusional and so many of us tried to explain facts to A-H 1,2,3........ and the rest of them
but of no use just IMHO

med school in Hungary, yes you have to pay for made up practicals. It is some rule that has been instituted for a number of years. I am not sure what is the rule for the Hungarian students.
