KMCIC is not recognised by th MCI, so does that mean it has no charter? Will I problems later during licensing because of MCI's stance?
KMCIC grads cannot practice in India, should I worry about it?

Can I later transfer to AUA from KMCIC, say within a semester or so,if I dont quite feel ok about KMCIC?

KMCIC has not and never will seek MCI approval. It is not an Indian or Indian -modeled (if such a thing exists) medical school. KMCIC is a US-modeled medical school.

KMCIC's recognition through ECFMG/IMED is through its twinning relationship with AUA. You can think of KMCIC as AUA's Indian campus.

Transferring between campuses is very easy. I use the original application file and simply add the updated academic info from the current campus and simply forward this to the other Admissions Committee for placement.

Hmm, the only problem is that the model of having a charter in one country and having a campus in another (without a charter) has been tried and failed, i.e. St. Christopher's COM which is banned in the UK and many US states.

Okay. Not sure how this relates...

KMC and AUA are two chartered/recognized/accredited Medical Schools who created a sister-school (twinning) relationship. I don't know about St. Chris exactly...but was this the same with them: two medical schools working together?

Does it mean the candidate will have a chance of being rejected by the AUA Admissions committee or is the KMCIC admission good enough for transfer to AUA?

Thanks for answering my previous question.

Unless a student is reapplying after being academically dismissed the Admissions Committee is only making a decision on Placement of the student into the program's curriculum. Not a decision for or against admission.
