NEW LGBT club at Ross!

Hey everyone - I thought I might as well get the word out using our beloved ValueMD.

If you're a current student at Ross and would like to be a part of an LGBT (lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender) organization on-campus (up and running as soon as I get the paperwork in + a few members!), please e-mail lgbtross@gmail.com. I think there's a minimum member roster in order to be recognized by the SGA, so the more the merrier. ANYONE can join. You don't have to be LGBT. Supporters are especially welcome! Thanks!

Well, that's an issue of current. I'm fairly certain SGA funding needs to be handed in at the very beginning of the semester. Being a 1st semester student, I had no clue and ... was sorta busy acclimating to med school and all, hah. So, for this semester, I think we'll have to make due with whatever we can. Next semester should be different. Welcome! It'd be great if you could shoot me an email with your info so I can officially put you on the email roster.

In all seriousness, I think it's awesome you are starting a LGBT club! It will be a great place for people to discuss their concerns in an open environment.
