I couldn't help myself from not registering after reading Stranger Stel's and whattupdog6969's posts.

I will go straight to the point, there is no difference between Hungary and Romania.

In Romania you can pay openly your instructors and solve all your
problems instantly.In Hungary the paying is secret, and much more expensive.

All the complaints of the students who have been to Hungary, are true.

You are better off if you go to Romania, if you are looking for such
a school. If you go to Hungary you won't get a paper from there 100%
and the stress will kill you. In Romania, the paying under the table is cheaper,and you will have a fun time!

Because of this, I would avoid entire Eastern Europe if I were you.

I will not waste my time replying to Stranger Stel and whattupdog6969
as others have done. The majority is right and not just 2 people (Stranger Stel and whattupdog6969).

My opinion has been noted and stored in this forum for everybody to see.

well first off, i dont know how you could have used my comments to persuade you to apply, since i only joined this forum around 3 months ago,, i find it amazing how you were already accepted and finished a disappointing school year in that time.

but i will take your opinion into deep consideration, ive been looking for a stress free medical school, and was hoping i could find one where the bribes are cheaper than most.... you say romania is my best bet at doing this?,,, thanks man... i hope to make an excellent doctor someday.

Just because they disagree with me it doesn't mean you must make them happy by banning me.

You received 3 separate infractions on 3 separate posts for flaming and personal insults. 3 infraction points leads to an AUTOMATIC TEMPORARY ban for 1 week.

During that temporary ban period, you decided to create and post with a new account (i.e. multiple account), which is against the Terms of Service (http://www.valuemd.com/disclaimer.php). As is well known, our system AUTOMATICALLY detects and PERMANENTLY bans multiple accounts upon discovery the first time. The 2nd time it will ban your IP. And the 3rd time it will report these activities to the proper authorities.

As you can see, this has absolutely nothing to do with your "opinions" and everything to do with your choice to violate our TOS. I strongly urge you to refrain from using this website any longer to avoid further issues. As you said, "At least I was heard", and your comments will remain, so there is no need for you to continue violating the TOS by attempting to create new accounts.

no dude you are fine lol. And you are right, these people are very persistent. However, there are several several characters that are admitted to the Hungarian Medical Universities, do not study, fail, and then blame the system.
It is not your RIGHT to be allowed to study to be a doctor, it is your PRIVILEGE.
Some people just do not get that fact, and blame everyone and anyone in plain sight other than themselves for their failures.

Just have a look at board exams (USMLE) and you will notice that Hungarian universities graduates are having very good results, and becoming good doctors in USA after wards.
Also the knowledge of a doctor (e.g a surgeon) is tested every day by the patients and the cases he has to manage...

If some people in some countries are paying to get their degrees this is their problem, sooner or later their lack of knowledge will reveal at the board exams or even later when they will start to do malfunctions with their patients, and the lawyers will kick their *****....

There was a medical magazine which was sent 2 years ago at my father's clinic and had an article about European universities graduates and their performance on the USMLE.Unfortunately as you can understand the article is written in Greek (I am Greek). This article in addition with some greek people I know who had graduate from Semmeweils University, and now are successful doctors at USA and England made me too take my decision to go at Hungary.

My house owner, who is hungarian, and has graduate at Szeged university, at the moment is doing his Residency at Manhattan (Neurology) and told me that the university supplies you with enough knowledge too face every challenge as concerns board exams.

Also the books and the structure of lessons at Szeged are based on the USLME standars.

Of course I have met people on Szeged which their only concern is too party, missing classes and after wards are complaining that teachers are extremely strict with them or that the university is corrupted.....(One of them had state in front of me that the celiac trunk is a branch of thoracic aorta, and of course he did not knew too show the celiac trunk on the cadaver-You think this guy had failed anatomy because the system is corrupted? Or because he was unfamiliar with the subject of anatomy ?)

You can always find a few students from each university who achieve success in every university. But the reality is, the average student in hungary wont. Most of them wont even make a successful future in HUNGARY. Hungary is a joke, go to romania insted.

Have you ever been to a Hungarian Medical school graduation? They are huge.
It certainly is NOT a minority of students that make successful physicians from Hungary.
The average student in Hungary can make it with diligence. You are not depicting reality, only your opinion of things, which really is not fair.
This is truly terrible to state that Hungary is a joke, and I am disappointed that such sort of lies and exaggerations are being told. Permanently banned suits your personality type.
It does not make for intelligent conversation. Either post facts, and discuss pros and cons, and go from there.
Please refrain from immature and baseless accusations. It is highly uncalled for, and does not make you look good.

So, for all you people trying to decide if Hungary is right for you: Above all realize, that unlike medical schools in the US and western Europe, there is a high failure rate. The reason for this is that they have a different system of filtering. While most medical schools have strict admission requirements, making sure that most of those who are accepted will probably be able to pass, schools in Hungary admit almost anyone and then see about who's got what it takes.

If you do decide you're up to the challenge of medical school, go check it out, speak with people who've gone there (preferably from the same country as you) and make your decision after gathering all the facts.
