well that'll be pretty difficult because Neuro programs are usually only university programs. all the hospitals we rotate at are community programs.

The Neuro rotation at Brooklyn Hospital is pretty hard core. They don't have a residency program, so no residents which is kinda nice coz you work directly with the attending. They have PA's, though, who are excellent and love to teach.

Elmhurst also offers Neuro, but I don't have details about that one.

LICH has its own attendings & Downstate residents who are all PGY3+, and sometimes a neurophys fellow. A lot of people treat it as a blowoff rotation because you have the freedom to make what you want of it i.e. learn a lot if you follow the clinic/assignment, present at rounds & take an interest, or you can choose to disappear after rounds.
For me, the coolest thing about doing Neuro at LICH was the chance to watch interventional coz they have their own interventionalist on faculty.
