the schools i would be asking for comparison would be Semmelweis or Szeged compared with Jag.
im not asking who would beat who in a fight, more so, when it comes to the calibur of education one receives from either school, and the consensus of prestige that each school holds, which is a more reliable source of attaining a strong medical education.
Does the (i assume) lower fail rate of poland mean its an easier school, or does it mean hungary is too difficult?
any insight into this would be deeply appreciated,
thank you

alright, i understand, this question really doesnt have an answer to it. I apologize for posting it this way,
i guess the root of my question is, having intentions for ultimately working back in Canada, would there be any form of difference how a doctor from either of these schools would be perceived? I know it doesnt make a huge difference on exactly where you study as far as education goes, but when applying to north america from a european school, the reputation of where yuo studied counts for a lot more than it should.
So if anyone has any insight or just your general opinion, id love to hear it.

Hello Stranger Stel I have recieved your PM and would like to post here for everyones benefit (since basically the same question was asked). I have spent several several hours researching different schools in EE and have come to a few conclusions.

sorry...(pressed post by accident) anyways.......
Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic and perhaps Zagreb in Croatia are the only places in EE that I would now consider. I have recently found out that Charles University although accredited in all 50 states aswell as Canada, is not eligible to recieve funding by the Canadian Government: Thus limiting my choice to Poland or Hungary and UZMS in croatia. If I were to rank where to go (not taking into accounts AVOID HUNGARY and money issues) I would rate them:
Charles 1st faculty
Jag
Semmelweis
Lodz
Charles 2nd faculty
UZMS
Szeged
Debrecen
of course there are a few more that are interdispersed throughout this list but these are the main ones. As far as countries are concerned I believe the facilities are slightly better in Poland when compared to hungary but Poland is also more expensive to live.I hope this helps.
Just drop me a line with any more questions

Semmelweis and Szeged are not that much higher than Debrecen, I would say that all three have their pluses and minuses, and are comparable in caliber and quality.
