Question about your old Pharmacology professor!

I wanted some info on your Pharm professor who is now at Ross. He is SB, MD from India. How does he test? Is he fair? Any info to help us out, our exams are next week. Thanks

Aww I miss him. He's a good professor.
I just finished Pharmacology last semester. We only had him for 1.5 block exams, though.

I am sure he's using the same power points. If they are the same, he has certain text colored and starred - and those are definite potential exam questions. For us, he also threw out questions at the end of every lecture. Be sure to take those down. He will give you similar questions if not the exact questions. Star things in the letcure when he emphasizes them by saying "remember this," or "this is very important."

His lectures are concise without a lot of fluff. He tests fairly. Hope this helps. Good luck!

man Im jealous. The current pharm profs are nice. But no hints, no curves. no nothin. as a matter of fact, almost half the class failed the first exam...and the powerpoints are not well organized IMO. one day a certain list of drugs will be presented with a certain list of ADRs then two days later we see that same group of drugs with new ones added, some others removed and changed ADRs. it screws me up...

i think the first and most harmful mistake any student makes is paying attention in pharmacology class, you are doomed to fail if you do that.

He was one of the best professors on Saba. Just concentrate on what he highlights in his lectures and, of course, on what he hints in class. It's a shame to see Saba lose an educator like that...among many others...

hmm, weird, we had the current pharm profs for the last couple blocks last semester, and i found the new prof to test very similarly to the others. just my opinion. pharm is pharm. memorization is memorization. that's all it is. if you know the slides, that's what is tested.
