Hey I am gonna apply by the end of this week. How fast was your response?

Also What was your average going in?

They called me as soon as my transcripts got there. It was about a week from when I applied. They were very friendly and helpful.

I've got a 3.6 GPA currently with strong faculty recommendations, research, 2000 hrs volunteering, and a degree in psychology. I am finishing my last semester a Arizona State for my prerequisites. I haven't taken the MCAT, so didn't submit scores.

Hope that helps.

if you're honest about your 3.6 GPA, there is absolutely no reason you should be going to All Saints. Try US schools first, can't get into that, then Ross, SGU, AUC, and Saba...then AUA, SMU, MUA-N

All Saints is way at the bottom of the list, I would not even consider it a viable option since the schools I just listed have a track record and are easy enough to get into already.

How are you so sure he will do well on the MCAT? Yep, he will mos def need the MCAT for US schools and some of the caribbean med schools (SGU, Ross, n AUC) you listed!;)

Dont even consider All Saints as a Nigerian its not for you. I pity the way they treat Nigerians Like animals in my school.I hear they are made to pay fees for 3 semesters at a time while we from canada only pay by the semester and still they are treated without respect. why not try Saba, AUA or Ross

Hey Dr.DGS, I also just got accepted for the MAY semester (premed prog). I was wondering how u intend to finance ur education at this school, because I am having a hard time getting a student loan and just don't know what to do. Since the school has no school code, it makes it even harder for any loan company to get me approved. I have tried so hard on this, can any current student from the US help me out please. I will truely appreciate your efforts.

I think we should form a group of med students, who need the loans and collectively play lotto to fund our education.

Okay... so I'm down for the lotto.

I have tried everything for a loan approval and will be able to get a private loan from by having my parents take out a loan in their name only, HOWEVER... how are you supposed to make payments each month while your in medschool unless you finance the payments into the loan too?

Also, my current loan company in the US says I'll have to begin making payments on their loan once I xfer out of the US. Yeah, I'm probably going to have to decline my acceptance. Anyone who found out how to get a loan, please contact me. I'm desperate.
