I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done the legwork to find out whether or not a particular state requires clinical rotations (aka clerkships, preceptorships) to be done "Green Book-by-specialty" for licensure.

I'll be keeping track of the info for anyone else interested.

Thanks!

do a search on the forums, but a quick answer, some states are more stringent. TX, OR, PA, OK to name a few.

Does this mean you can't get a license in certain states if one of your core rotations was D.O. but all the rest were ACGME (Greenbook)?

The best advice is if you know which state in which you want to work, check with the licensing body of that state. Only they can answer your question definitively.
