I'd love to hear your input! I'm looking to schedule one for 5/12 to 5/23. Thanks!

no they don't. there are 4 "required" electives that have to 4 weeks long, but the rest can be 2 weeks long if you want them to be--so long as you have 80 weeks total (3rd and 4th year).

Problem you may run into though is some hospitals will only allow 4 week electives.

Go to england. But they might balk at you only doing a 2 week rotation there. I did 2 weeks of ER (A&E) and had a blast. That was after psych and OBGYN so i was settled in. Do something that is not a core, like radio or allergy/immuno or pain management or derm.

Some hospitals allow you to do 2 week anaesthesia, I just did 2 weeks of ENT, i dont know any hospitals that allow 2 week IM, maybe try obgyn

never heard of a 2 wk IM or ob/gyn. in general, it is hard to find ob/gyn electives --> not available at many hospitals. brooklyn hosp has ob/gyn electives
