Has anyone from AUA started rotations at Brooklyn Hospital? I haven't heard anyone giving feedback about this place.

I also would like more info on this situation. They told me that this rotation isn't set up yet even though it is listed on their website.

This place is pretty weird. It's hard to schedule any electives here because apparently, SGU students get first priority.

I start IM their in August so i kinda wish i new something about it too... Has anyone done IM their yet?

brooklyn hospital seems to offer many cores... are we allowed to use for any cores it offers? i.e. peds and surgery

definitely not peds, dont know about surgery, but im pretty sure its just IM we can do here

in terms of scheduling electives these guys don't let us do subinternships and many of the other electives are booked for months and months.

I've noticed that Brooklyn Hospital is no longer on the list of AUA affiliates. Does any one have any info on this? Also, I'm in 5th semester right now and I am wondering if AUA plans on acquiring more green book rotation spots in NY in the near future. My class is pretty large and a traffic jam for spots might be looming in the not too distant future...answers any one?

It looks like they acquired a really good teaching hospital in Staten Island, but I don't know which rotations are offered there (besides Surgery).
