I know that John Madden has posted, and I think he is a school official. It will be great to have another on here. Takes some of the pressure off steph as well... Hi Nada!

yep john madden, Dean Lambert and once or twice Dean Bob Jordan have all posted. Nada will be a more constant presence. I'll let her do further introductions. Her role will be to provide the "school word" on whatever the issue is (crime, boards, transfers, whatever) and save me the pain of calling Bay Shore frequently and save bayshore the pain of having me annoy them (as much).

Cool... Getting school officials to post is great... Fufills the purpose of these forums (or fori?) in dispelling myths, half-truths, and all-out lies... :)

Welcome Nada! :)

oh good. Hi Nada!

Just today I heard a classmate comment on if your term 1 GPA is below 2 point something it is mandatory that you 'decel'. I'm not familiar with how it works but that's not what I thought at all. Can you enlighten us?

NadaB?
Someone in the administration? A student? A faculty member?
Official word is always appreciated but is not always helpful depending on the source. Not to be the skeptic among us but remember that certain parties will represent issues in a less than objective way more fitting to their convenience.
Welcome nonetheless.

that's why they are designated school officials and why school officals are not moderators.
