Hi, I graduated from U of T with cGPA 3.51 and MCAT 27P. Lots of research experiences and volunteers. I had my interview on Monday, and a letter was mailed out on Tuesday. I asked them what is it, and they won't tell me unless ten days passed by.
Can someone explain it?

StriveToBe,
No worries, you're fine! You definitely got in.
They wouldn't have informed you about this letter if you got rejected.
Take these 10 days to plan your celebration.
Which semester are you going for? May or Sept?
Cheers

Those are good stats, slightly higher than SGU's average. Did you apply to SGU?

if given a choice, would you choose DO over one of the Big 4?

while I hope that is true, and you indeed may be quite right, please be a little more careful about rendering such pronouncements. its just not fair to students who's hopes are so high.

I have applied to 13 DO schools. I think I would choose DO. I will take COMPLEX and USMLE, and there are more options.
It is especially true for those top 10 DO schools, which have been establised for over 100 years, and have extensive hospital affiliations.

Hi, I graduated from U of T ...
U of T huh? Would that be University of Texas or Tennessee? Oh yeah, or University of Toronto? Or Timbuktu?
Time to start thinking big, Strive. Like being in a world where U of T can mean many things. Just a word of advice.

though it seems that saba's canadian students are more pro-active in getting canadian residencies...realize that these people are paving the way--as more and more saba graduates are canadian program residents, then more willing they will be to interview saba students for positions.
