hey guys im new here and have a question

I'm currently a 3rd year Canadian university student planning to apply to saba soon for the fall 2008 session. I was looking through the application where it says to list all the pre-med undergraduate courses along with grades etc....now does this mean only the first year science courses + orgo or all science courses.

my first year chem and bio marks are pretty bad (like C's and D's) but all the bio courses i took in second year (genetics, animal physiology, cell bio, biochem) i got nothing less than an A. i also got A's in both orgos. other courses ive gotten A in are calc, algebra, stats but I don't think they look at maths too much?? physics i did ok in

so im worried as they look at my app. they will see all these bad marks for courses that are required by med school (1st year chem, bio).

shud i just repeat 1st year chem/bio in the coming semester or do u think it will be ok?

When I filled my app, I listed all science courses I took. I think that since your grades have improved from the first year they will consider that when looking at your application. I would go ahead and fill out all your science courses and see what happens.

when i applied they told me that a solid improvement over the undergrad years is better than a sustained grade throughout. So the fact that you showed a significant improvement is a plus.

Go for it!

thanks cutievans, i guess I'll list all of the science courses then...looks better that way and the good marks will hopefully drown out the bad marks :)

nice to hear that maserati, i definitely did improve after the crappy 1st year thankfully :)
