took exam dec 11 . . . when will I expect results?

Hi y'all

I took my exam on December 11 in the US. I am an old IMG from Mexico living in the US.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the email results will be delayed because of the holiday as I am calculating I should receive the famous email on January 2 or January 9.

Is it normal to freak out after the exam since I feel more stressed after the exam. . . I rechecked my answers even though I cannot do anything about it . . . I came up with a list of confirmed 20 'very stupid and careless' mistakes I made.

Hey, you may have your results delayed by a week longer than normal.....normally, results come out Wed. Usually 3 weeks is the going time. I took mine the week before Thanksgiving.....and it took closer to 4 weeks so, you may be looking at the same deal.

YES, you are in stress/freakout zone after the exam and have nightmares about what you did and did not answer, it's normal. It's kind of a PTSD of sorts. I started doing some light reading for Step 2 to get my mind off it after the exam when I could process things. Good luck & don't worry if your results are delayed....holiday times I think that's normal.
