This is not a rhetorical question; I need an answer, which will depend on the criteria.
My criteria are:
(1) I can practice medicine, not law. I don't want to see a ghostly lawyer behind every patient, and I don't want my medical decisions guided my considerations of malpractice. I want to spend my time in my office, not a courtroom.
(2) I won't have to learn another language, except possibly Spanish.
(3) The locals don't want to cut my head off. (No Green Zone, etc.)
(4) My fees can at least cover modest living expenses.
(5) Private practice is not necessary. Willing to work in public clinic or hospital, on a ship, hot air balloon, spacecraft, etc.
(6) General practice (PGY1 only), or FP/IM/Ped/Psych.
(7) Not required to give up U.S. citizenship.
Where are some places I could practice that meet these criteria? (Martians need not respond.)
