I'm starting electives in January and was wondering what people are using for thier electives as reading material. I have Harrisons and Cecils, but was looking for good supplements specific to these specialties. Any input would be helpful.

I use my baby Harrison's because i brought a book for an elective and I was not satisfied. But I must say the book for the speciality had more of the specific test. So if u are interested in the speciality as a career I would buy a review book for it, eg/ crash course; but if you just doing it to count weeks use your harrisons

I plan on applying for an internal medicine residency. So besides doing the subspecialties in 4th year I will be doing them again during residency. So I will keep the books for future use during residency besides ofcourse using my Harrisons and Cecils.
Has anybody used The Washington Manual Subspecialty Consult Series? There are subspecialty books in GI, Cardio, Neuro, ID, Heme/Onc, Pulm, Endo, Neph.
OR
Has anybody used Blueprints Pocket Series for subspecialties ? There are subspecialty books in GI, Cardio, Neuro, ID, Heme/Onc.
Any input if you have used any books in either series would be helpful.
