Hi,
I noticed that on the second faculty of medicines website it says that in order to transfer you have to be from other faculties of medicine, does it mean other medical schools or only other charles faculty of medicine?
Thanks

Note that they put "medical school" in parenthesis after "Faculty of medicine". I'm fairly certain that they wouldn't have bothered with that explanation and would have stipulated only Charles or only Czech if that's what they meant. I know for sure that several other Czech schools take transfers.

Hey there, usually the 2nd fac does take transfers from the other charles medical faculties. I'm not sure about about other medical schools as such. I do know that among the different Charles faculties, the First Fac. is the only univ. will has the toughest system for accepting transfer students (it's virtually impossible!! even if you're a student of one of the faculties of charles!!!)

you can transfer into all faculties of Charles as long as you fill the requirements. for Charles students they can never go back to the faculty they left. e.g if a student transfers to 1st fac from second and then decides he does not like it, he can only transfer to third but not back to second. I'm not sure how difficult it is to transfer into each of the facs, just that it is possible as many students move around. I would say it easier to transfer in clinical years as they have kicked out so many students
