For any state medical license, make sure you contact the state medical board about licensure or the provincial college of physicians and surgeons for registration prior to going to a new school. With the crew that Dr./Mr. Ross has put together, I have no doubt they will be aware of the requirements and what is needed to be done. You will need to be on top of everything no matter what. It would also help to keep a journal of activities during medical school to show the appropriate authorities what you have done during medical school. Also you should keep a journal during your residency so that when you come up for review and apply for membership in your specialties college you have documentation. Documentation is extremely important today. So the more documentation you have the better.

What does "Postgraduate training required"?

Does that just mean how long your residency has to be?

So basically if you are in something with a 3+ yr residency (say, Internal Medicine) you are OK for a state where they require 3 yrs for foreign medical grads?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows..........
