It is mainly hispanic and black it was known for high crime rate in the past but nowly it is relatively calm. It is accessibly by the L train, apart of the NYC subway and various bus routes, also close to the highway. Parking is available 10 dollars for the day, heard its free on weekends. It is 15 minutes from manhattan by train. Students lve in brooklyn, queens, manhattan, even some for NJ. student from every school rotate there from Ross, SMU, AUC, NYCOM, and European school.

thanks guys. I have some more questions. From what Ive read, wyckoff and Brooklyn offer all "green" core rotations. So I can plan on spending my whole third year, without having to move, in Brooklyn and walk out with all greenbook core rotations? My goal is to save move and convience by not having to move around so much. So, how hard is it to set up your rotations back to back at one of these hospitals? I mean basically, can I move to NY third year and knockout all third year green rotations in one spot? Thnaks
i would like to know this too, about doing all rotations in one spot.. most schools do allow that..

If you're willing to wait a couple months, you can get a spot at Wyckoff and do all your rotations between there and St. John Episcopal. I applied in September for a January Spot at St. John and a February spot at Wyckoff and had no problems.

Read this:
http://www.valuemd.com/ross-university-school-medicine/149235-new-clinical-spots-wycoff-added.html
An excerpt:
The agreement was signed on 12/19/07 and will increase the number of guaranteed core positions from 64 to 112 beginning in 7/1/08. There will be increases in OB, PEDS, IM, SURG and FM core rotations.
Please keep in mind these positions are now guaranteed in quantity so that the unfortunate practice of "bumping" will end. These positions are not add-ons to the number of students at Wyckoff but rather Ross students are replacing students from other international schools at Wyckoff.

Looks like life is going to get a little tighter on the clinical front. Especially when our larger classes start graduating off the Island.
