dentistry at charles

I want to study dentistry in 2008 at 1st faculty. Does anyone know what the entrance examinations are like.
I did my A-levels 8 years ago, im 26 at the moment so i forgotten alot of stuff.

Well i guess the entrance for the dentistry and general medicine are pretty much similar....but if i were you, i would revise all the stuff once...coz you have to get a 50% to pass...my question to you is: why dentistry? do you have any parent/relative in the field? and secondly why are you considering the Charles dentistry course? It's not doubt one of the best in europe but also one of the toughest......i do know a couple of people who've passed but they all told me that it was quite tough....but anyways do revise the material once (you can get the sample questions if you apply to the Charles Univ. for a packet)......good luck with you're decision!!

in answer to your question why dentistry, well... i have wanted to study dentistry for many years. It appeals to me more than medicine does. Do you think that the dental course is actually any tougher than medicine at charles or that many of the students studying dentistry at charles are quite young and maybe dont study as hard as they should do and so they fail?

I intend to visit prague soon and check out the school myself but i am also applying here in england though competition is very tough and i am also considering hungary.

Also Shrey, if you happen to know any dental students there, would you please ask them if i could get their email address so i can ask them some questions.

hey, yeah i'll try and get their email adresses...but the course is quite tough because it's one of the best in europe.....and most of them end up practising either in the US or the UK....so that might be quite an advantage for you...yeah i guess the best thing is for you to come and check out the univ. one thing i can guarantee is that you'll love the place...
