Among others are these definition:

1: a deranged state of the mind usually occurring as a specific disorder (as schizophrenia)

2: such unsoundness of mind or lack of understanding as prevents one from having the mental capacity required by law to enter into a particular relationship, status, or transaction or as removes one from criminal or civil responsibility

On civil responsibility: It is only reasonable and logically makes sense to resign such individuals from any civil responsibility and avoid making judgements of value as we try to understand lunatic actions performed by such people. However, for those that are normal, it is essential to examine one's life, intentions and actions, for society and others do assume that we still have such a capability, lest we be relinquished from our civil and social responsibilities if we manifest pathological behavior in our actions to others.

Dr.H,
Thanks!

By the way, is there any way that the required/recommended books for each semester be posted on ASUSM web, so that new students can access them and buy the required/recommended books before leaving for Dominica? Is it possible?

Thanks again, Dr. H
