Hello hello!
I was at the book store yesterday and picked up a review book for the USMLE step 1. I'm still in college, but I've taken a good handful of biology classes. I was able to answer maybe 1 out of every 40 or so questions in the practice tests for Step 1.
The questions are a lot of "This xx year old hootchie comes in with xx and xx and has done xx and xx." We learn this much stuff in the basic sciences? Are the basic sciences in med school nearly totally clinically oriented? That's some amazing shit!
