Is there usually turbulence on the flight to grenada from Puerto Rico? My husband and I get motion sickness, so we were curious.

Dude, you're on a turboprop plane from San Juan (or Trinidad, Barbados, or anywhere other than London that flies to Grenada) - meaning it's a tiny puddle-jumper. It's safe, but quite a bit more jarring than the usual domestic or international flights. If you get sick easily, be prepared for a rough ride and premedicate if it helps. Sorry to be blunt but that's the reality of it and you should be ready. Good luck!

Ok, I have been on turboprops from Santa Barbara to LAX in CA and they are still fairly big so there hasn't been turbulence. Are these really tiny planes you are talking about?

I haven't noticed too much turbulence on any of my inter-island flights, but I don't get airsick either. Also, I don't think I have traveled near any significant storms.

The American eagle flights are fairly large as far as turboprops go. I think they're THIS type.

As kitty said, take some dramamine/gravol or have it handy but I bet you and your husband will be fine.
