Criminal Background?

This past summer my roomate was findling in drugs and I had very little knowledge of the degree that she had gotten herself into them. The cops came to our apartment and because I was living with her at the time they charged me with all the same felonies she was charged with saying that I had to be involved in some way. I cuurently have the best lawyer in town and he says that he will definitely be able to get rid of these felonies, although I may be given some misdeamors since I was living with her. My trial is set for January and all this will be resolved by summer 2008. Since I currently have been charged with felonies does this automatically make me unable to be accepted? Any advice as to what I should do?

Nope she tried to deny that everything was hers and put the blame on me...needless to say she's a ***** and we're no longer roommates

Being accepted in a caribbean school is one thing; getting a US visa it's another. I think that is the most important aspect you should consider.
