Hi

To my knowledge, apart form the USMLE step 1 and step II there are still a couple of more exams that we have to write.
What I gathered from my interview with Saba was that we will eventually also have to wirte both the TOEFL which is an english fluency test (no big deal) but also the ECFMG Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA)

Hope this helps

P.s: I have seen a few places on the web where it says that each step in the USMLE cost about $645, the TOEFL $110, and the CSA $1200US - Yikes!
Does anyone know if this is accurate?

No longer true, sort of. As of 2004, the csa is absorbed in a new clincial skills componant of the step 2. the english exam is part of this testing in a fashion and so the TOFLE is no longer taken. The big thing is all grads- US ones as well - take all these exams. WE are thus on par now.

The prices of the exams are about right! Not cheap. Plus for the CSA portion of Step 2 you have to factor in travel to the testing site and a hotel stay.
